I am a Scientist at Honda Research Institute USA. I received my Ph.D. in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University in 2018, where I was advised by Prof. Karthik Ramani. Previously, I received a B.S. from Hanyang University, Korea in 2011, and a M.S. from University of Southern California, in 2013.

Research Interest

My research interest lies at the intersection of computer vision and machine learning, focusing on understanding and prediction of human behavior in a highly interactive environment. In this area, I build a new perspective for the safe operation of vehicles and robots designed to cooperate with humans.
