I received my Ph.D. in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University in 2018, where I was advised by Prof. Karthik Ramani. Previously, I received a B.S. from Hanyang University, Korea in 2011, and a M.S. from University of Southern California, in 2013.

My research interests span the fields of computer vision, machine learning, and robotics, focusing on understanding and prediction of human behavior in highly interactive environments. In this area, I build a new perspective for the safe operation of vehicles and robots designed to cooperate with humans.
